The Store Manager at Castle Megastore is responsible for building a high-performing team, leading recruiting, staffing, and scheduling efforts to maximize sales and productivity, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and directing visual merchandising, marketing, and product strategies. Responsibilities

  • Build high performing team by accelerating the development of leaders.
  • Lead overall recruiting, staffing, and scheduling efforts to maximize sales and productivity to include individual sales goals for all team members.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by creating and maintaining an elevated in-store environment.
  • Direct the planning and implementation of visual merchandising, marketing and product strategies.
  • Represents the brand, understands the competitors and promotes location within community driving up store and brand awareness.
  • Analyze various reports and measurement tools including customer insights to identify business opportunities.
  • Balance workload priorities to ensure success of all division of responsibilities.
  • Ensure adherence to all retail policies and procedures by staff.
  • Communicate regularly with the management team concerning all aspects of sales, customer feedback/traffic and associate training/performance.
  • Participate in weekly store walk-throughs with the management team and follow-up as required.
  • Stay up to date on all store initiatives and communications that are received, sharing with associates when appropriate.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 3-5 years retail management experience as Store Manager in a high volume/ high unit, multi-million dollar fashion and hard lines retail environment.
  • Proven track record of developing leaders and building high performing teams with a strong emphasis on the customer engagement and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong ability to network, recruit and attract the best talent in retail.
  • Track record of top performing results with a high level of business acumen.
  • Considerable knowledge of the fashion industry, HR practices, and retail systems/operations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with both the store team and the corporate office.
  • Strong delegation skills in support of execution and driving results.
  • Experience in a high unit intensity environment with multiple product categories.
  • College degree preferred; high school diploma required.
  • Open availability to meet the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US.
