*** Must live in the Greater Phoenix Metro Area ***PURPOSE: The Habilitation Support Specialist will offer support and training on effective Habilitation practices to Providers, Members, and their Families. They will collaborate closely with a team that includes Parents, Caregivers, Habilitation Providers, Support Coordinators, and Area Supervisors. The Specialist will help Families identify suitable goals for Members and provide guidance to ensure these goals are successfully reached, in compliance with all regulations and policies related to Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) and other regulatory agencies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- Must be at least 18 years of
- Satisfactory background
- Able to acquire a DPS fingerprint clearance
PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:- A Bachelor's degree in education, special education, child development, psychology, behavior analysis, social work, or counseling.
- Two (2) years of full-time experience in habilitation services, behavioral therapy, or behavior coaching
- Bilingual - Spanish & English
- Classroom training experience
- Some commuting (as needed)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- Teach habilitation training classes at various ACS office locations and/or via
- Assist with planning document preparation, planning, and attendance including all follow up tasks, such as habilitation goal writing.
- Coach habilitation providers and parents/caregivers in implementing habilitation program goals and the teaching of target skills as intended through the designated teaching
- Review data on each program goal, as
- Review all incoming Person-Centered Service Plan (PCSP) documents
- Write member-specific goals and teaching strategies
- Follow up with family if additional information is needed
- Enter habilitation goals into SpokeChoice
- Perform 90-day progress reviews, reaching out to families and providers to address any issues with
- Follow all company and State policies and procedures including, but not limited to:
- Reporting to work on time as
- Refraining from excessive
- Obtaining prior approval for desired time
- Maintain all records, logs, spreadsheets, and other documentation as required by funding source, company rule, policy, and procedure.
- Ensure clean and safe environment free from abuse, intimidation and harassment is
- Maintain all training and certifications as required by funding source or Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain professional demeanor and protect confidentiality of member, staff, and agency information.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:This job operates as a remote tele-work position, as Arion Care Solutions does not provide a separate workplace at a corporate location. Working from home requires a high degree of discipline and the ability to have a space dedicated to work in the home and provision for childcare if appropriate. This position may require travel to different locations and in-person meetings.
