  • Understands and practices Quality System Requirements and Documentation (i.e. applicable inspection, verification and disposition procedures, and/or instructions and forms required as part of the process).
  • Operates all various types of office equipment (computers, software, measuring devices, scales, facsimile, typewriters, printers, copiers, etc.).
  • Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate growth.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution.
  • Keep ahead of industry's developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement.
  • Responsible for processing customer orders and communicating with customers over the phone and e-mail.
  • Assists overall customer needs by working with plant personnel and the inside/outside sales team.
  • Follows up on shipment status from multiple company shipping points.
  • Pro-active self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications

Required

  • One (1) to five (5) years' experience in customer service, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Positive attitude and demeanor.
  • Consistent punctuality and attendance.
