Product Management Intern

Kreg Tool is seeking a Product Management Intern for Summer 2025. The internship will take place over the summer months and last approximately 12 weeks from May to August, with flexible start and end dates. You will be paid a competitive hourly rate for the internship. In addition, many interns may receive academic credit for their work through their college or university.

What You'll Do:

The Product Management Intern will be a member of Kreg's Product Management team, but primarily focus their work on product development and performance activities. The Product Management team is part of the Kreg Marketing team, working in conjunction with most other company departments, including engineering, supply chain, finance, sales, and customer experience. This role will be assigned a variety of projects that will require working with other departments to assist in the day-to-day functions of the team, as well as special projects and standardization of processes. Through these activities, the Product Management Intern will be exposed to all aspects of product development, from concept to final design, as well as performance in the marketplace.

• Gathers and analyzes information to assist in completing SWOT analysis for relevant product lines.
• Analyzes performance of new and existing items.
• Assists in creating business case and ROIs to achieve sponsorship across departments.
• Analyzes competitive products to identify differentiators, pros and cons.
• Assists in training Kreg employees on new products and how they win vs. the competition.
• Provides support service for product management staff.
• May include data entry, product information updates, and SOP creation.
• Hands on review of new product prototypes, competition, and concepts.

What We're Looking For:

• Junior status enrolled in Business or related program.
• Have completed intermediate coursework related to their major.
• Experience with woodworking is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work a 12-week internship in the summer.

Other Skills and Abilities We're Looking For:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team; handle multiple tasks; and set and meet deadlines.
• Strong computer skills with high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
