Position Summary: Provides on-site support for hospital networks and infrastructure through design, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Responsible for supporting all server hardware and software including selection, configuration, installation, upgrades, troubleshooting and documentation. Deploys, maintains, upgrades, and troubleshoots virtual desktop and remote access infrastructure. Focuses heavily on cybersecurity, target hardening, firewalls, and Virtual Private Networks. This position is also responsible for systems administration and technical support for various hospital systems.
Experience:
Preferred: Minimum 2 years� experience with Microsoft OS/NOS and server applications. Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, switching/routing, VPNs, and LAN/WAN topologies, Veeam, Exchange, Active Directory configuration and management, and proficiency with Cisco IOS. Demonstrated ability with VMWare vSphere and VMWare Horizon 8. Familiarity with storage systems and experience with multilayer security and protection solutions.
Education: Craft or technical school of up to 2 years duration.
Other Required License/Credentials/Skills: Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software including troubleshooting and repair techniques. Knowledge of networks and switching. Ability to provide highest-tear technical support for networking, computing, and infrastructure issues..
Bi-Weekly Hours: 80
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30AM - 4:00PM
