The Advanced Practice Nurse in Cardiology at Deborah Heart and Lung Center will work in collaboration with attending physicians to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients in the Cardiology Outpatient and Inpatient areas. Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients in the Cardiology Outpatient and Inpatient areas.
  • Work with a team of Advanced Clinical Practice Providers, Nurses, and Technicians to evaluate and manage patients.

Qualifications

Required

  • At least 1-year experience in Critical Care or Telemetry inpatient care.
  • Master's degree or greater from an ANA accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current New Jersey License as a Registered Nurse.
  • Advanced Practice Nurse Certification through a specialty association.
  • Current CDS and DEA licenses.
  • Approval of credentials and clinical privileges per Center procedure.
  • Maintains a flexible schedule to ensure patient and staff needs are addressed/documented in a timely manner.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and database management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including WORD, EXCEL, and POWERPOINT.
  • Well organized, detail oriented, multi-tasking.

Preferred

  • Prefer Cardiology experience, either as Advanced Practice Provider or in Nursing.
  • Orientation will be customized based on experience.

Experience

Education

Required: Master�s degree or greater. Graduate from an ANA accredited School of Nursing.
