As a Senior Manager of Technical Infrastructure at Google, you will lead a team of Technology Sourcing Managers to define and execute Google’s strategic sourcing of data center infrastructure equipment and supplier management for our data centers. Responsibilities

  • Grow and develop a team of Technology Sourcing Managers to deliver sourcing and supply chain objectives for the electrical infrastructure space.
  • Set quarterly and annual objectives and priorities for the team along with resource planning.
  • Develop and execute category strategies to achieve total cost of ownership, lead time, capacity, innovation, and quality objectives for the products managed through close collaboration with Google cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, quality, operations, finance, etc.).
  • Conduct complex strategic technology negotiations including comprehensive contractual agreements to deliver cost, lead time, and capacity objectives for the organization.
  • Implement supply chain and process improvements through supplier performance metrics, scorecards, business continuity plans and regular business reviews.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in technical sourcing and supply chain management.
  • Experience in negotiating agreements for technology and supplier performance management.

Preferred

  • Experience working with general contractors, integrators, and suppliers in a large infrastructure environment.
  • Experience with large-scale industrial engineering and construction programs, preferably data centers.
  • Experience managing data center electrical infrastructure.
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills.
