The Restaurant Manager at Public School Restaurant and Bar is responsible for assisting the Management Team with the daily operations of the restaurant, focusing on guest satisfaction, team member support, and maintaining the company culture. Responsibilities

  • Oversee on shift operations including meeting labor goals, coaching team members, quality control
  • Deliver superior service and maximize guest's experience by touching tables, addressing any guest concerns, and being a visible and accessible point of contact on the floor
  • Plan successful shifts by leading huddle ups, line checks, and being aware of all team member's time on the clock. Guide the team with when/if they need a break, if they are reaching overtime, etc.
  • Assist with setting and communicating company policies and processes
  • Serve as a mentor to the team by leading by example, assisting with training new employees as needed, and upholding all team members to our standards (Sequence of Service, Health Dept. etc)
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints following the L.A.S.T. Method
  • Actively communicate with your Management team including information about shift flow, labor, team member performance, guest comments, PDR events, team member concerns, and any other pertinent information by utilizing the Manager Log feature in R365
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations

  • Must have an open availability including weekends and holidays
  • Minimum of 2 years in a full-service restaurant
  • Strong multi-tasking ability, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Positive and Professional Attitude
  • Knowledge of business process and functions
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude

The FOH Hourly Manager will be responsible for assisting the Management Team with the daily operations of the restaurant including guest satisfaction, team member support, and maintaining the company culture of the restaurant. The Hourly Manager reports to the General Manager.
