Sovah Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU to provide direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.   • Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Qualifications

Required

  • Graduate of a Program in Professional Nursing.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including week-ends and holidays.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association certification or within six (6) months of hire.
  • New Graduate RN ACLS certification within one (1) year of hire.
  • Registered Nurse from the Virginia Board of Nursing or compact State.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • Previous experience in acute care hospital setting.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education

Graduate of a Program in Professional Nursing required.

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Required Skills
