Responsibilities

  • Manage marketing projects assigned to support the company’s business-to-business and consumer marketing objectives and strategies.
  • Lead and assist in the development, implementation, and support of marketing & sales tactics across traditional and digital platforms for new and existing products, programs, and promotions.
  • Assess the marketplace for given program, assess the state-of-the business through sales data, competitive assessments, and market research.
  • Collaborate with team to develop sales and marketing plans to ensure product/program/brand is relevant to the customer/consumer.
  • Project manager of assigned projects; write project assessments, situation overviews, creative briefs and lead creative agency through concept development, production of marketing assets.
  • Provide copy platform for all given projects that align with brand voice, imagery and character.
  • Execute marketing/communication plan for company and value-added brands. Maintain brand character, voice, and imagery for each brand. Seek unique ways to create news for the brands.
  • Maintain and administer web site; provide help in developing additional product/program functionality. Keep content fresh and current.
  • Develop sales presentation templates – create and update key slides with product, program and company news.
  • Collaborate with Business Managers and Sales team to develop account-based marketing to support our customer marketing efforts.
  • Develop all customer and prospect communications – including lead generation programs and emails.
  • Manage all aspects of developing and updating on and offline sales collateral, including development of case studies.
  • Collect and compile industry and competitive reports, new items, program innovations, etc. Report findings and recommendations to team.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • Background in business-to-business trade marketing and/or consumer marketing.
  • Strong project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with both traditional and digital platform marketing execution.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of various B2B customer segments and sales channels.
  • Familiarity with consumer marketing programs and tactics.
  • Adept at developing working partnerships, team dynamics and project structures.
  • Highly organized, solution driven independent thinker.
  • Able to manage accountability and respond to competing priorities.
  • Possess solid self-management skills and self-motivated.
  • Four-year college degree in Marketing, Business or relevant field.
  • Five years plus of similar or related work experiences.

Preferred

  • Experience with Sitecore and WordPress digital platforms.
  • Understanding of the protein/beef industry.
  • Familiarity with web platforms and analytics.
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point and Adobe Creative Suite Design programs.

Marketing Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Qualified candidates for the Marketing Manager position should possess the following:

  • Background in business-to-business trade marketing and/or consumer marketing. Strong project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Ability to work with cross-functional teams including sales team, customers, business managers and support agencies to achieve effective, timely and efficient project results

  • Experience with both traditional and digital platform marketing execution. Experience with Sitecore and WordPress digital platforms is beneficial

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills that facilitate project work with agency partners by structuring strategic vision, objectives and goals that drive tactical action to supports company sales function

  • Understanding of various B2B customer segments and sales channels with knowledge of the protein/beef industry a plus. Ability to conduct market analysis and define positioning competitive sets, and marketplace opportunities

  • Familiarity with consumer marketing programs and tactics with emphasis on supporting customer driven initiatives and account-based marketing programs for in-store execution. Has experience developing and implementing digital and social media strategies into the marketing mix of brand/program plans

  • Adept at developing working partnerships, team dynamics and project structures

  • Highly organized, solution driven independent thinker

  • Able to manage accountability and respond to competing priorities

  • Possess solid self-management skills and self-motivated. A quick learner

  • Four-year college degree in Marketing, Business or relevant field

  • Five years plus of similar or related work experiences

  • Familiarity with web platforms and analytics a plus

  • Protein industry business knowledge and experience a plus

  • Strong experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point and Adobe Creative Suite Design programs
