As a Senior Information Systems Engineer at Autodesk, you will be part of the Enterprise Systems and Experience team, focusing on improving organizational productivity through technology. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships and oversight to ensure successful services and implementations
  • Oversee data migrations of target companies
  • Initiate programs and protocols for seamless data and system migration & integration
  • Follow industry best practices, principles, and quality assurance and implement new ideas and improvements
  • Coordinate vendor software, technical services, and demonstrations
  • Ensure appropriate security controls are in place
  • Follow defined processes to support integrated enterprise applications, infrastructure technology, and data
  • Prevent systems/storage failure or diminished performance according to SLAs
  • Respond to and troubleshoot system issues, isolating sources of failure, diagnose and repair infrastructure systems or initiate protocols to minimize impact
  • Promptly escalate issues to vendors or team members and assume 24x7 on-call duty as assigned
  • Perform maintenance or upgrades after hours or on weekends to minimize business impact
  • Produce regular performance and capacity summaries and status reports for management
  • Create technology status communications and engage with Product Support and customers to gather usage insights and address concerns
  • Conduct analysis of systems for migrations and participate in system/project design and engineering processes
  • Support project planning with subject matter expertise
  • Document requirements, procedures, designs, and configurations and develop technical diagrams and interconnectivity with interacting systems
  • Record changes, configurations, incidents, problems, and processes
  • Develop test plans and perform post-installation testing
  • Verify component/system performance through demonstrations, best practices, or pilot testing and identify, isolate, and rectify performance issues
  • Provide timelines, benefit, and risk analysis for design solutions
  • Streamline implementation efforts for efficiency
  • Work with Product Owners and Managers to refine functional requirements
  • Contribute to future product design based on customer insights
  • Identify and address issues before they escalate

Qualifications

Required

  • Fosters a collaborative and constructive atmosphere, exhibiting optimism and empathy in challenging situations
  • Experienced systems migration consultant 2yrs with both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace (GSuite) environments
  • 2+ years of experience as a SharePoint administrator
  • Demonstrated experience with migration tools: ShareGate, BitTitan, Microsoft Migration Manager, and Exchange On-Premises remote Hybrid migration
  • Experience migrating email, meeting, file storage, and voice systems
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, and bulk change scripting
  • Knowledge of SharePoint tools, including ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint forms
  • Proficient in coordinating complex schedules and prioritizing tasks
  • Understand networking to install multiple pieces of software independently
  • Exchange/O365 migrations, mailbox creation/deletion, database migrations, general maintenance
  • Migrate from on-prem resources to cloud services, management of cloud resources in AWS, Azure, or other like technologies

For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $122,400 and $198,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
