Telemetry Travel RN
•\tPlan, execute, and evaluate patient care plans in consultation with the health care team.
•\tMonitor, interpret and record cardiac EKG strips.
•\tMonitor patients’ vitals and report adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
•\tAdminister medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
•\tAnswer questions and educate patients and families on lifestyle changes, home care protocols, and ongoing treatments.
•\tIf necessary, respond to medical emergency and alert appropriate team members.
•\tFlexibility to travel to the assignment location.
•\tAvailability to work the facility’s required schedule.
•\tWillingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
•\tAbility to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
•\tAlso referred to as: tele registered nurse, telemetry nurse, cardiac nurse, intermediate care nurse, IMCU nurse.

Job Requirements
•\t1+ year of experience as a Telemetry nurse
•\tGraduate from an accredited nursing school
•\tCurrent state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
•\tBLS certification required
•\tACLS certification required
