  • Must be currently licensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of Texas.
  • Must maintain current NRP certification.
  • Prescriptive authority is required.
  • Valid DEA and DPS numbers must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Full Time 4502 Medical Dr. Physician & Mid-Level Providers Rotating Shifts POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Carries out, under the direction of the designated neonatal provider, assignments designed to develop expertise in a specified area/specialty. Assignments will be centered around comprehensive care for neonates up to 6 months of age, high-quality front-line care for infants in the delivery room, a well-baby nursery and neonatal intensive care unit, and follow-up care for newborns and infants. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Successful Completion of an educational program for physician assistants or surgeon assistants accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, or by that committee's predecessor or successor entities is required. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants is recommended. Must be currently licensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of Texas. Must maintain current NRP. Prescriptive authority is required. Valid DEA and DPS numbers must be obtained within 90days of hire.
