  • Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs.
  • Rotate through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma.
  • Assist practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures, and trauma.

Qualifications

Required

  • Formal two-year radiologic technology training in AMA approved school which meets requirements for registry by the ARRT.
  • 2 years in an Acute Care Setting.
  • State License (If Required).
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Certified Radiology Tech (CRT) certification.
  • CPR-Basic Life Support – American Heart Association certification.

Preferred

  • 4 Year Degree.

TRA Radiology Technician
TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to an outside agency.
The Radiology Tech, under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Provide technical support for radiographic examinations. This includes assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications. Perform radiographic exams on all patients as necessary. Employee is responsible for producing high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements and trauma; assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma
