The CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 2 is responsible for supporting and maintaining the electrical infrastructure within a critical environment, such as a data center. Responsibilities

  • Complete all tasks outlined in the CE Tech Level 1 job description, such as daily operational checks, including logging temperature, voltage, and current readings.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for planned critical environment activities.
  • Energize cabinets in Colo and perform preventative maintenance on Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems quarterly and annually.
  • Perform system control panel and battery preventative maintenance.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing instrument sensors, and perform calibrations as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and physical security policies during all work operations.
  • Collaborate with teams and escalate issues as needed to maintain system reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3+ years of applied work experience in technical fields such as automotive, electrical, controls, or data centers.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical systems in high availability environments, such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical facilities, or manufacturing plants.
  • Must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Fundamental knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Ability to follow operating procedures and protocols, especially in critical environments.
  • Availability: Willing to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour rotating shifts (3-5 days a week).

Preferred

  • Qualified Electrical Worker certification.
  • Previous experience working in data centers.

Pay Range: $35/hr. - $38/hr.
Duration: 6 - 18 months
Shift: Night Shift B (12 hours, Thu-Sat & Wed-Sat)
Location: Onsite, Bothell WA 98021
