  • Completes required documentation for each procedure to ensure proper patient records and facilitate seamless communication among healthcare providers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program
  • ARRT (R) certification
  • DxBLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare

Overview:
The Radiologic Technologist performs medical exams using X-rays or other diagnostic imaging examinations on patients to create images of specific parts of the body. The images are then interpreted by a doctor for diagnosis and monitoring of disease. Working under direct supervision, this position prepares patients for the exams, moves patients to the correct position, operates the equipment, and uses their knowledge and skill to minimize the radiation dose to the patient.
