The Assembly Technician at Aerotek is responsible for physically disassembling cars using basic tools to prepare them for installation by technicians.   • Disassemble window bars, TLO boxes, push-bumpers, prisoner door panels.

Qualifications

Required

  • 1 year of mechanical automobile experience or a certificate of completion from an automotive or related technical school.
  • 1+ year of assembly experience.
  • Experience in tearing down and/or rebuilding equipment, machinery, large parts etc.
  • Ability to pallet tear down and stock parts or make kits off the pallet.
  • Highly detailed person.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clear a DMV check.
  • Natural curiosity and a desire to absorb and process knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to discern when it is necessary to consult a team lead with questions and/or concerns.
  • Own and able to operate the tools listed in additional qualifications.

- It is the prep department's responsibility to prepare sub-assemblies, prepare vehicles by disassembly
- These prep parts will be determined by the Lead Prep Tech and will derive from the Vehicle Build Sheet.
- This includes, but not limited to window bars, TLO boxes, push-bumpers, prisoner door panels, assembling of various products,
