The Maintenance Electrician at Aerotek is responsible for performing electrical repairs and maintenance on yard facilities, utilities, power distribution, and production equipment. Responsibilities

  • Performs electrical repairs and maintenance to the yard facilities, utilities, power distribution, and production equipment.
  • Performs new installations and modifications to yard facilities, utilities, power distribution, and production equipment.
  • Installs and removes temporary portable production support equipment, utility distributions, and other services in the yard.
  • Inspects equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations.
  • Tests equipment such as pressure and flow gauges, voltage meter, current meter, megameter, tachometer, multimeter, infrared optics, sonic testers, circuit testers, high voltage testers, high pot, ground fault circuit testers, circuit tracers, etc.
  • Uses tools and work aids such as soldering irons and guns, hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, bearing and gear pullers, hand and table saws, bench grinders, files polishers, port-a-powers, hand trucks, lifts, chain falls, tack welding equipment, jib cranes, man lifts, forklifts, scissor lifts, conduit benders, tubing benders, crimpers, and bench vises.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of building or construction electrical experience
  • Shift flexible between all 3 shifts (1st- 630am- 230pm, 2nd- 230pm- 11:00pm, 3rd- 10:30pm- 7:00am)
  • Ability to bend conduit by hand and using machine. EMT and Rigid
  • Knowledgeable on Electrical Code and standards
