Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering for the Omni Interlocken Resort. - Maintain up-to-date inventories of heat, light & power and repair and maintenance supplies.
- Respond to guest requests.
- Work with the Engineering staff on a shift basis and coordinates their activities.
- Assume the full responsibility for the Engineering Department in the absence of the Director of Engineering Services.
- Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation.
- Have a thorough understanding of Omni's job scenarios.
- Must be familiar with Omni's Systems and Services procedures.
Qualifications
Required
- Must have extensive HVAC and mechanical experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- 3-5 years of hotel engineering experience preferred.
- Previous experience at a hotel preferred.
- Experience managing a crew of 5 or more.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including covering overnight, weekends and holidays. Schedule will vary according to business and operational needs.
- Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
- Must possess painting, plumbing, electrical, minor carpentry, lighting and computer skills.
- Move, bed, lift, carry, push, pull, and place object weighing 50-100 pounds without assistance.

Salary range for this position (based on experience):$84,000 - $85,000/year. Omni Interlocken reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.
