Cash Application Specialist

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Cash Application Specialist in the insurance industry, located in Plantation, Florida. The role involves processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, resolving customer inquiries, and monitoring customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

- Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

- Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure data accuracy

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary

- Utilize Microsoft Excel, particularly pivot tables and VLOOKUP, to manage and analyze data

- Execute B2B collections as part of the account management process

- Perform data entry tasks and maintain documentation for reference and record-keeping

- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure balance accuracy

- Oversee cash applications and collections as part of the financial operations

- Undertake manual processes as part of a larger system conversion project. Requirements - Proficiency in Cash Applications

- Experience with Microsoft Excel

- Familiarity with B2B collections

- Ability to perform Data Entry tasks quickly and accurately

- Experience in Account Reconciliation

- Knowledge of Pivot Table usage

- Familiarity with VLOOKUP function in Excel

- Ability to work in the insurance industry

- Previous experience as a Cash Application Specialist is preferred

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work independently and in a team setting

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
