Mechanical Assembler

**Aerotek is hiring multiple Mechanical Assemblers!**

**Job Description**

Mechanical Assembler duties involve working off of blueprints to assemble a finished product using hand and power tools. The Mechanical Assembler will also align subassemblies and equipment, cut and fit pipe and tubing, and make operating tests and final adjustments as needed.

**Hard Skills**

+ Hand and power tools to assemble machinery

+ Blueprint knowledge for assembly

+ Construction experience is a plus

**Work Environment**

1st Shift Hours are 5:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday (10-hour days are the norm), with the possibility of up to 8 hours on Saturdays when needed (must be flexible to work on Saturdays if needed). Temperatures may not always be controlled and could vary from hot to cold, depending on the season. In the summer months, fans are used, and doors can be opened. Cold drinks and frozen treats are provided during summer months.
