  • Serve as the subject matter expert during compliance audits and propose plans of action for resolution.
  • Maintain valid driver's license for departmental vehicles.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of related experience, preferably within a pharmaceutical operations setting.
  • Ability to complete basic math calculations.
  • Ability to read and understand training documents, product labeling, and warehouse signage in English.
  • Pass medical screening and/or background checks.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • 5+ years working with ERP system, preferably SAP.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, general computer skills, and RF scanners.
  • Very strong knowledge of CDA, TSA, IATA, DOT, IMDG, and/or FTZ compliance regulations.
  • Capable to lift 50 lbs. with assistance.
  • Able to bend, reach, stoop, climb, stand, and walk for entire shift.
  • Ability to work in a temperature range of -20°C to 30°C wearing required PPE.
  • Operate various types of material handling equipment.

Purpose

Warehouse Associates are accountable for accurately performing a combination of manual and automated tasks necessary for receipt, storage, transporting, picking, packing, shipping, staging, delivery etc. of product that may be hazardous, temperature sensitive, or of high value amid continuously demonstrating behaviors aligned with Abbvie's attributes and values.

Responsibilities

+ Comply with all appropriate policies and procedures to successfully maintain training, safety, GxP, and governmental agency standards.

+ Ability to comprehend and accurately process paperwork in accordance with policies and procedures.

+ Demonstrated ability to adapt to fast changing work demands.

+ Responsible for cross-training in multiple areas of the operation while maintaining a low level of quality mistakes.

+ Accurately receive and inspect inbound product/material for infestation, overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).

+ Efficiently and correctly pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is picked.

+ Transfers and locates material/product to general storage areas or shipping locations.

+ Demonstrate expertise and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) during compliance audits. Maintain open communication with leadership regarding audit findings and proposes plan of action for resolution.

+ Accurately complete basic math calculations. Ability to read and understand training documents, product labeling and warehouse signage written in English.

+ Pass medical screening and/or background checks conducted by local, state, and federal authorities.

+ Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced positive team-oriented environment, with moderate supervision an emphasis on customer satisfaction.

+ Demonstrated ability to adapt to fast changing work demands.

+ 5+ years working with ERP system, preferably SAP. Familiarity with Microsoft office products, general computer skills and RF scanners required. Ability to analyze, think creatively, decide, an effectively communicate verbally and written.

+ Very strong working knowledge applying CDA, TSA, IATA, DOT, IMDG and/or FTZ compliance regulations for the receiving and shipping of materials

+ Capable to lift 50 lbs., and/or more with assistance. Able to bend, reach, stoop, climb, stand and walk for entire shift of 8 hours or more.

+ Ability to work in an atmosphere range of -20°C to 30°C (-4°F to 86°F), wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to complete assigned tasks.

+ Operate various types of material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, hand tools and other devices operated in a warehouse environment while maintaining the highest level of productivity and accuracy.
