*This is a Student-Hourly Position - Only UMB/USM Students Apply* The University of MD, Baltimore's department of Pharmacy Practice & Science has an exciting opportunity for a*Graduate Student - Pharmacy Technician (Part-Time, Hourly)**for theirMental Health Program at the Spring Grove Hospital Center located in Catonsville, MD.* The School of Pharmacy operates the Department of Pharmacy Services at Spring Grove Hospital Center under an interagency agreement with the Maryland Department of Health (MDH). *This Grad Student - Pharmacy Technician is a part-time student position* *COMPENSATION:*$15 per hour / up to 16 hours per week *PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:* · Medication cart fill · Unit-dose Prepacking · Order entry (if time permits) · Delivering medications to nursing units* · Assist Director and Assistant Directors with formulary distribution, reports, and monitors when in available in summer and winter. · Other related duties as assigned. *EDUCATION:* Currently enrolled at a USM/UMB institution. *EXPERIENCE:*A minimum of one year of equivalent pharmacy experience requiring a familiarity of generic and trade names of pharmaceutical products. *CERTIFICATION:* Employees in this job class must be a certified technician and registered with the Maryland Board of Pharmacists. *OTHER:*Candidate selected for employment must have a valid Maryland Non-commercial Class C driver's license. *CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:* Candidates selected for employment may be subject to medical inquiries and/or medical examinations to determine ability to perform the job.
