As a Test Technician at Actalent, you will be responsible for conducting technical product performance tests, generating accurate and concise test reports, and setting up and operating lab equipment. Responsibilities
- Conduct Technical Products performance tests on parts and products as requested in an accurate and timely manner.
- Work with the requestor to modify and expand test plans and procedures.
- Generate written reports of test results in an accurate, concise manner, drawing sound conclusions and observations.
- Set up and operate lab equipment and contribute to the organization and layout of the lab for increased efficiency.
- Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings and make accurate prototype parts, assemblies and products as requested.
- Design and build equipment and fixtures to conduct testing.
- Assist in maintaining the calibration of the lab equipment.
- Work with agency representatives/inspectors to help facilitate lab and manufacturing inspections and work with the Standards Engineer to resolve any findings.
- Coordinate and manage off-site testing.
- Support and participate new product development Lean activities.
- Assist engineers with design and development of test machinery and equipment as required.
- Provide testing and engineering support for Engineered Solution and Value Engineering projects.
