Our client, a fortune 500 company, is looking for a Lab Technician, for a 12+ month contract for a 100% onsite role in Maplewood MN. In this role you will perform physical and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
**Job Title: Lab Technician**
**Location: Maplewood MN (100% onsite)**
**Pay Range: $18 to $20 p/h depending upon experience**
**What's the Job?**
+ Prepare materials and organize for product testing.
+ Assist in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research.
+ Worker performs mechanical performance tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
+ Assists with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results. Ability to follow procedures and methods and to work well on a self-directed team.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or higher
+ Adaptability to team needs and working for many individuals in various groups.
+ Good mechanical aptitude and skills as well as experience and specific training in inspection procedures and/or the product line
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including statistics and data analysis
+ Require attention to detail, understanding of experimental methods, and accurate record keeping.
+ Able to move products and lift weights up to 20 lbs
