The Registered Dietitian at Atlantic Health System is responsible for providing dietetic programming in corporate and community environments, including research, development, implementation, evaluation, and oversight of all nutrition programming. Responsibilities

  • Assist team in new client outreach and department marketing, including attending events as the ACH representative
  • Assist with RFP/RFQ/RFI response as it pertains to dietetics/nutrition
  • Attend tabling, counseling, screenings, or other educational events at employer locations
  • Collaborate with care team for continuity of care, including EHP clinical team
  • Collaborate with the Speakers Bureau Coordinator to tailor content for specific audiences and events
  • Consult with onsite placement team for any nutrition or dietetic programming, as needed
  • Counsel a varied population including metabolic medicine, weight loss/gain, endocrinology, rheumatology, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, GI ailments, etc.
  • Create educational materials to complement presentations
  • Create treatment plans and follow-up care, develop meal plans, calculate nutritional requirements and make recommendations
  • Develop and deliver engaging in-person and/or virtual presentations on various health topics
  • Develop nutrition treatment plan that includes meal plans, supplements, healthy eating guides, and behavior modification
  • Implement interventions and education
  • Keep well-informed about emerging trends, latest developments, and best practices in dietetics/nutrition topics
  • Maintain quality assurance and evaluates compliance with corporate policies and procedures and State and Federal guidelines
  • Provide clinical nutrition assessment and documentation for corporate and community populations
  • Provide on-going education and serve as a resource to the health care team
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patient/client nutritional needs/readiness to learn/psychosocial-behavioral factors

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in nutrition from an accredited program or related field
  • Certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in the State of NJ
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs
  • Holds a valid driver's license and has means of transportation
  • Possesses competency with Microsoft Office suite of programs

Full Job Description

Summary: The Registered Dietitian position is responsible for providing dietetic programming in the corporate and community environments. Further, this team member will research and develop new nutrition programming. This position reports into the Employer-based Services Manager of Atlantic Corporate Health (ACH), Atlantic Health System along with the Executive Health Program Manager. General responsibilities include research, design, implementation, evaluation and oversite for all ACH nutrition programming. This along with the associated data management will support and contribute to the growth of ACH client account activities.

Essential Functions:

+ Assist team in new client outreach and department marketing, which may include attending events as the ACH representative

+ Assist with RFP/RFQ/RFI response as it pertains to dietetics/nutrition

+ Attend tabling, counseling, screenings, or other educational events at the employer locations

+ Collaborate with care team for continuity of care, including but not limited to EHP clinical team

+ Collaborate with the Speakers Bureau Coordinator to tailor content for specific audiences and events
