- Reporting any safety issues to the Route Supervisor or Dispatch.
- Communicating professionally with customers and Dispatchers, including receiving complaints about schedules and quality of service.
Qualifications
Required
- At least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement, and a clean driving record.
- At least 1 year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL-A, within the last 7 years.
- Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA and applicable traffic regulations.
- Ability to speak and read English well enough to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic and signals, respond to official questions, and make legible entries on reports and records.
- Ability to read and understand a map.
- Ability to meet the physical and safety requirements of the position.
- Willingness to work required hours as allowed under DOT regulation, which may include weekend, night, and/or holiday work.
Preferred
- Experience as a Driver or Helper for a refuse company.

The CDL-A Drivers will be operating tractor trailers transporting containers of municipal and commercial waste between our local Transfer Stations and our rail yards.
**Highlights:**
+ Sunday - Friday: Night Shift: 8PM - 6AM
+ Pay Rate $26.66/hour
+ Overtime paid after 40 hours in a work week.
+ **1 Year (Minimum) Class A, Tractor Trailer Driving experience is required along with a good safety record. (3-5 years experience is preferred)**
+ **Intermodal Container Experience preferred**

+ Communicate professionally with customers and Dispatchers at all times. This includes receiving complaints about schedules and quality of service. Our Drivers must make note of and report on any such complaints and respond in a courteous and respectful manner.
**Work Environment**
+ The Driver position may be required to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as mount and dismount the truck multiple times every route.
+ As part of our commitment to safety and accountability, all our trucks are equipped with route tracking software and video monitoring.
+ We strictly adhere to DOT safety regulations, including motor vehicle record review and drug testing requirements.
