Maintenance Technician

**Maintenance Technician - Waxahachie, Tx**

**2nd & 3rd Shift - $28-37/hr.**

**Job Description and Duties:**

Fully automated fulfillment services for the distribution of all the company's products.

Maintenance Technician must be knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair on Material Handling Systems, PLC troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Technician has to act as a liaison for internal and external resources, and be on call as needed. This position requires strong project management skills, effective communication skills, be self directed, and have the ability to multi-task and deliver results in a dynamic environment.

Technicians will be in charge of equipment such as:

+ Mechanical and electrical equipment and components

+ 3 phase motors, 480v

+ Integrated Systems with PLCs

+ Allen Bradley PLCs (old and new ones) troubleshooting and repair

+ High Speed Automated Sorting machines

+ VFDs, Photo Eyes, Sensors

+ Robotic equipment

+ Gantry cranes

+ 30 miles of conveyors, 4 sorters, 12 cranes

+ PLC PM programs

+ Update computer status using TMI Systems (software)

**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**

+ Must have 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing or Distribution equipment.

+ Mechanical and electrical systems using PLCs for automation

+ HS Diploma

**Work Environment:**

+ Distribution Center environment

+ Team of 30 Multi-craft Technicians at different levels

+ *General, Snr, PLC Technicians, and Master Technicians

+ Team player environment, work in groups, communicate, offer solutions. Culture of quality and reliability.

+ Wear steel toe boots, jeans, and plain shirt

**Shift:**

+ 2pm-12:30am, Sunday through Wednesday - 2position

+ 10pm-8:30am, Wednesday through Saturday - 3position

**Pay:** $28-37/hr.
