Survey Technician

Survey TechnicianJob Description:

Full-service civil engineering firm looking to hire a Survey Technician to join their team in Woodbridge, VA! This person will be in the office primarily and may sometimes work in the field, but will be supporting the daily work schedules of the field team. Survey Technician will be using the data collected from the field and using it to create cutsheets and layout plans for engineers to continue with their designs.

Top Skills & Qualifications:

+ 3-10+ years of experience as a Survey Technician (CAD based role)

+ Experience in both Carlson Drafting software and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D

+ Experience in both Surveying (field) and Engineering (design)

Work Site/Environment:

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in WOODBRIDGE, Virginia and some days remote. They work on a variety of projects but mainly focus on Residential Communities and Commercial types in all phases. Their team consists of 36 people split between 4 current teams that support their different project types. The office is rarely full because they have flexible schedules that they work with their employees on. They are very fast paced. People who ask a lot of questions and have a 'head down' approach do a nice job of fitting in and lasting here.
