**Maintenance Mechanic**

**Job Description**

Assist with daily production needs regarding breakdowns to support Operation's goals. Maintain equipment by OEM manuals or implementation of PM programs. Perform mechanical and electrical repair of all machinery and production equipment.

**Hard Skills**

+ Troubleshooting abilities with motors, belts, chains, gears, bearings, hydraulics, etc.

+ Read Electrical schematics

+ Understand the difference between 120 single phase and a 480V 3 phase motor

+ Experience working on 480V 3 phase motors

+ Manufacturing experience

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in ASHLAND, VA.

**Work Environment**

This is a wood pallet manufacturing company, so it is an indoor/outdoor environment. All manufacturing equipment is in covered buildings, but is not climate controlled. This is a very spread out plant, so candidates must be comfortable with walking to various buildings and being on their feet all day.

**Shift:**

Night Shift: Tuesday - Friday 8:30pm-6am.
