We are seeking a Cash Applications Specialist II to join our Corporate Accounting & Finance team. This role involves cash applications/cash receipts of all receivables, working independently as well as cross-functionally, and working closely with various teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of cash applications. - Ensure accuracy and completeness of cash applications
- Analyze unbilled receivables monthly against standard Costpoint reports
- Address payment issues like double payments or other discrepancies
- Research and resolve a variety of internal and external customer inquiries concerning payment status, invoicing status, refunds, and write-offs
- Implement accounts receivable operations to maximize effectiveness and accuracy
- Monitor the operation of the accounts receivable systems
- Develop solutions to cash receipt issues and work with systems design to implement new features
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ Years Experience in Cash Application within Government Contracting
- 3+ Years Experience in Costpoint 7 or 8
- Preparation, verification, and reconciliation of a high volume of cash receipts
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
- Strong multitasking skills with minimal supervision
- Effective communication skills with external and internal customers
- Problem-solving skills

AR Cash Applications Specialist II
Job Description
We are seeking an AR Cash Applications Specialist II, who will be responsible for cash applications/cash receipts of all receivables, to join our Corporate Accounting & Finance team. You will work independently as well as cross-functionally, multi-task with minimal supervision, and work closely with the Project Accounting team, Program Managers, Project Financial Controllers, and Contract Managers, to ensure accuracy and completeness of cash applications. Clients include government agencies and commercial companies.
Skills
+ 3+ Years Experience in Cash Application within Government Contracting
+ 3+ Years Experience in Costpoint 7 or 8 (In addition, Blackline is a big PLUS)
+ Preparation, verification, and reconciliation of a high volume of cash receipts
+ Analyze unbilled receivables monthly against standard Costpoint reports
+ Address payment issues like double payments or other discrepancies
