As a Customer Service Representative at Expeditors, you will be part of a global supply chain management team, focusing on professionalism, leadership, and customer service. Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
  • Monitor and action exceptions timely
  • Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
  • Track and trace Drayage Management and/or Air Import files as required
  • Ensure timely clearance and delivery of freight to customer for Import shipments
  • Send documents to customer or broker for customs purposes in a timely manner
  • Interact with customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards
  • Meet compliance regulations at all times, including internal policies and procedures and external government regulations
  • Meet KPI standards
  • Understand department process flow and look for areas of improved efficiency
  • Contribute to maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Overseas communications and timely responses to emails and requests

Qualifications

Required

  • 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including listening, comprehension, and clear communication
  • Pro-active, strong organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred

  • Understanding of air and ocean documentation process
  • Understanding of Final mile drayage process

+ Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)

+ Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures are followed and updated

+ 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

+ Understanding of air and ocean documentation process a plus

+ Understanding of Final mile drayage process a plus

+ Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results

+ Pro-active, strong organizational skills

Expected salary: $24-$27/hour
