Responsibilities
- Maintaining and supporting Microsoft Windows and Linux servers
- Acting as a System Administrator in Epic

- Maintaining and supporting enterprise backups and restores
- Troubleshooting issues
- Upgrading hardware
- Monitoring servers for faults before they occur
- Ensuring anti-virus software is installed and up to date
- Providing assistance to other members of the technical team
- Developing and maintaining domain configurations
- Identifying issues and recommending corrective actions
- Providing support for application issues
- Offering assistance to application support personnel
- Identifying and understanding new technologies and recommending them when applicable
Qualifications
Required
- 2-4 years experience in System Engineering
- ECSA Certification (Epic Certified Sys Admin or Epic Interconnect) for one opening
- Citrix experience
Preferred
- Healthcare experience
- Advanced Citrix knowledge / experience
- Experience / certification in Microsoft Exchange

Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a Systems Engineer to support a Healthcare client local to Northwest IN. This is a day shift position with a 9 week rotating on-call schedule and will be hybrid onsite in Munster, IN. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and supporting Microsoft Windows and Linux servers, as well as acting as a System Administrator in Epic. The Systems Engineer has daily tasks including but not limited to installing updates and patches, maintaining and supporting enterprise backups and restores, troubleshooting issues, upgrading hardware, monitoring servers for faults before they occur, ensuring anti-virus software is installed and up to date, as well as providing assistance to other members of the technical team. Also responsible for developing and maintaining domain configurations and identifying issues and recommending corrective actions. Provides support for application issues and offers assistance to application support personnel. Identifies and understands new technologies and recommends them when applicable.
Must Haves:
- 2-4 years experience in System Engineering
