Social Worker - Substance Use Recovery Program

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 9 AM - 5 PM

Overview:

• Mercy Virtual’ s Substance Use Recovery Program is a one-of-a-kind telehealth, medication assisted treatment program embedded within the Mercy Health System.
• We are a grass roots, niche program looking to add a self-starting, proficient social worker to the team.
• The Social Worker, as part of the Virtual Substance Use Recovery Program, interacts with patients who are seeking treatment for their opioid use disorder.
• The Social Worker will engage with patients in all phases of their recovery process though a collaborative care model requiring the ability to triage, diagnose, and treat.
• In addition, the Social Worker provides a wide variety of intensive case management services.
• Mercy’s Substance Use Program is a novel program, and this role will serve on a small team of highly motivated, team-oriented professionals.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master's Degree in Social Work
• Licensure: Licensure current in Social Work; Licensed Master Social Worker(LMSW), in the state of employment and eligible for licensure in all states in Mercy Ministry.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in any of the following: acute care hospital, behavioral health, and/or substance use treatment.
  • Adult experience preferred.
  • Hospital and mental health experience preferred.
