Job Description:The Heavy Truck and Trailer Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations of our heavy truck and trailer division. This role involves managing a team of sales professionals, developing sales strategies, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management within the heavy truck and trailer industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share and profitability.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth.
- Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to executive leadership.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as insurance, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Inventory Acquisition and Management : Be able to assess and determine values for trade-ins, consignment sales, and auctions. This position will be required to purchase inventory and execute inventory aging policies.
Qualifications:- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales management within the heavy truck and trailer industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of heavy trucks and trailers.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
- Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.

- License: Valid driver's license (required).
