Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance schedule for all manufacturing equipment and facilities.
  • Coordinate and supervise with maintenance technicians and other relevant personnel to ensure timely execution of scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Adjust and update maintenance schedules based on equipment performance data, production schedules, and feedback from maintenance staff.
  • Supervise, coordinate and scheduled Predictive, preventive, and corrective work order management.
  • Work together with the production planner to schedule equipment service.
  • Generate and distribute work orders for preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Track and document the completion of work orders.
  • Prioritize maintenance tasks based on criticality and potential impact on production.
  • Scheduled and supervise contractors service with the support of maintenance supervision.
  • Collect and analyze data related to equipment performance/reliability, maintenance history, and downtime incidents.
  • Generate reports and present findings to management.
  • Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to manage maintenance data.
  • Evaluate and update preventative maintenance frequency based upon needs analysis.
  • Lead pre-shutdown meeting.
  • Supervise and verify predictive, preventive, corrective orders where successfully and correctly completed.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO-9001 standards and other regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of necessary materials and components.
  • Ensure and supervise that all preventative maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years in manufacturing maintenance field and/or manufacturing industrial maintenance experience required.
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning or scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software tools.
  • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics.
  • Able to communicate with equipment manufacturers, contractors, and service providers.
  • Possess an understanding of preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Knowledge of maintenance best practices, equipment reliability, and preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Will obtain an Engineers & Technicians Association degree related to maintenance.
  • Occasional overtime and working weekends may be required.
  • Consistent and regular attendance required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, supervising, and managing the preventative maintenance schedules for all manufacturing equipment and facilities.
