Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care
- Focus on low and high-risk pregnancies
- Perform deliveries, including VBACs and C-sections
- Repair of 3rd-4th degree lacerations
- Perform GYN ER consults and D&Cs
- Conduct Ectopic and Ultrasounds
- Perform Amniocentesis and routine and complicated deliveries
- Work with a team of medical professionals including Certified Nurse Midwives, CRNAs, Medical Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Registered Nurses
- Participate in call duties with a schedule of 7a-7a, 7-8 shifts per month
- Respond to beeper calls within 30 minutes
- Handle callbacks during weekdays and weekends
Qualifications
Required
- MD or DO degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Ability to work in an inpatient/outpatient setting
- Experience in low and high-risk pregnancies
- Ability to perform deliveries, including VBACs and C-sections
- Experience with GYN ER consults and D&Cs
- Ability to conduct Ectopic and Ultrasounds
- Experience with Amniocentesis and routine and complicated deliveries
- Willingness to work with a team of medical professionals
- Ability to participate in call duties and respond to beeper calls within 30 minutes
