  • Evaluate and update plan of care.
  • Clerical duties to include accurate transcription of MD orders and knowledge of computer R/T those orders.
  • Safe, accurate, timely administration of medications.
  • Supervise OBTs, Nursing Assistants, and Orientees to maintain competent level of care.
  • Accurate and complete documentation including co-signature when required.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Associate diploma or B.S.N.
  • Minimum of 6 months to one year medical surgical hospital experience required
  • N.A./Current NYS Registered Nurse
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM Training required within 6 months of employment

Preferred

  • Previous OB experience
  • Certification in inpatient obstetrics
  • EFM certification
