Journeyman Electrician

As Journeyman Electrician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you'll support commercial contractors throughout the Phoenix Metro Area. In this role, you'll enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule.

Note: The pay rate for this job is $28 - $37 / hour

Responsibilities:

* Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools

* Maintaining tools, vehicles, and equipment and keeping parts and supplies in order

* Performing duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment

* Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code

* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment including wiring, transformers, switchgear, motors, and other electrical components.

* Bend and install various types of conduit, including EMT, rigid, and PVC.

* Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and recommend solutions.

* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical diagrams.

* Install electrical systems according to industry standards and regulations.

* Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure they are following safety regulations and standards.

* Coordinate with other trades and contractors on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects

* Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed.
