\npractice area, performs those repetitive and manipulative activities which

\nprimarily consist of drug distribution duties, pre-packaging, maintaining the

\ninventory in the Pyxis medstations (filling the medstation daily, checking for
\n
\noutdates), IV and chemotherapy sterile compounding, record keeping
\n
\n(refrigerator temperature logs and hood cleaning), billing, housekeeping and
\n
\nsecurity functions.

\nVaried hours, depending on department needs, including weekends and holidays

\nSalary Range: $26.55 - 32.36 (Union represented, step based salary depending on

\nyears of experience)

\nCA

\nPharmacy Technician license - Required.
\n
\n2 years
\n
\nof inpatient pharmacy experience - Highly preferred.

\nto accurately perform pharmaceutical calculations.

\nof pharmaceutical generic and trade names and their dosage forms, and the
\n
\nability to cross-reference the most common drugs from memory.

\npreparing intravenous solutions using aseptic technique.

\nto work independently and follow-through on assignments with minimal
