Job Description

The electrical integration design engineers are responsible for laying out the designs where the avionics, wiring, and harnessing are routed through the aircraft and integrated into the electrical wiring interconnect system (EWIS). Collaborate with electrical engineers and structural engineers to develop innovative solutions. Use Catia 3DX to develop and release engineering definitions. CAD packages such as Mentor Graphics, SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, and Altium are helpful. Develop trade studies and design reviews to present to program leadership. Select materials and components for material compatibility. Provide engineering support for manufacturing. Provide Non-Conformance Dispositions and issue engineering drawing redlines.

This is a contract position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Tustin, California and some days remote.

Work Environment

Tustin - Flight Headquarters. New trendy office space with three floors. Departments normally sit in the same area, but some management is local and some are out of Mojave.
