Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our machining, saw and maintenance teams. Continuous improvement of processes for efficiency and developing a relationship with our customers is a must Leadership of the machine shop team Machine maintenance and daily scheduling. Coordination of materials and labor Recommendations on capital spending to improve capacity and quality Coordination of efforts between the production, planning and engineering teams Planning and management of all repair and installation activities Ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision Willing to work weekends as needed

**Job Type**

This is a permanent position.

**Work Environment**

Machine shop environment with 7 in that department and approximately 120 total employees. 6am - 3:30pm, 9/80 schedule. A 9/80 work schedule is an alternative work arrangement where employees work 80 hours over nine days instead of ten, giving them an extra day off every other week.
