Summary You will serve as a Financial Technician in the Comptroller Department, Accounting Division of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. Responsibilities You will use a financial management system to extract data to verify compliance with agency guidelines. You will verify the accuracy of labor and accounting data. You will respond to customer inquiries to resolve problems affecting financial entitlement. You will make corrections to labor and accounting data in accordance with agency guidelines. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: Verify accounts and accounting data; prepare reports; make arithmetical computations; determine pay, payroll records maintenance and completion of reports; provide advice to employees, supervisors, financial specialists and personnel specialist on pay related rules; extract data from records to prepare reports; correct and close out pay accounts for personnel; maintain ledgers, arrange funding data, budget formulation; keep track of budgetary transactions; Review a variety of financial transactions (e.g., labor adjustments) for compliance with agency standards; Review financial documents (e.g., reports, records, data, or other material) for consistency and validity; Certify the accuracy of financial reports (e.g., labor adjustments) accuracy.
