  • Assists patients with bedpans/urinals/commode
  • Assists with management of a patient with an external device exiting the body
  • Transports patients from one location to another
  • Promotes patient safety & environmental cleanliness/order
  • Operates a glucometer, pulse oximetry, automatic blood pressure device, simple dressing change, IV Removal, Sequential Compression Device Operation, Foley removal, and application of heat and cold
  • Maintains stock of patient care supplies and equipment

Qualifications

Required

  • 3 months clerical experience
  • 3 months experience as LNA
  • High School graduate with office practice courses
  • Graduate of an LNA program
  • BLS, CPR certification
  • LNA certification

Preferred

  • Over one year clerical, LNA experience in an acute care setting
