  • Notify group leader or supervisor of any problems or non-conforming product
  • Support and implement the Environmental policy as it pertains to work activities

**Job Title: Clean Room Assembler**

**Job Description**

Our client is an electronic automotive manufacturer located in St. Charles, IL, where they manufacture and distribute OEM electronic parts for the automotive industry. They are direct suppliers for major automotive manufacturers including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Ford, Chrysler, Jeep, Hyundai, etc. These parts are manufactured onsite in a state-of-the-art cleanroom environment. The parts include power window switches, push-to-start buttons, power seat controls, and car entertainment consoles with AC/Heat controls. The cleanroom has over 20+ machines, each with one operator responsible for maintaining the continuous flow of production to ensure the parts are assembled correctly. Candidates will run automated machinery to ensure manufacturing procedures are carried out. Our client has three departments within the production cleanroom that support different electronic components:

1. PSS Dept. (Power Seat Switch)
2. ECU Dept. (Electrical Component Unit)
3. SMT Dept. (Surface Mount Technology)

PSS/ECU Dept.
- 2nd Shift: 1:30 pm - 9:45 pm openings
- 3rd Shift: 9:30 pm - 5:45 am openings

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in Saint Charles, Illinois.

**Work Environment**

Our client's St. Charles location spans over 350,000 square feet with roughly 250 employees between production and the warehouse. The production area is a cleanroom environment with departments including PSS (Power Seat Switch), ECU (Electrical Component Unit), and SMT (Surface Mount Technology). Adherence to GMP (good manufacturing practices) is required, including wearing a gown, hairnet, and shoe covers. No jewelry is allowed. The warehouse area includes Shipping, Receiving, and Material Management departments, which require steel toe shoes but no GMP protocol. Both production and warehouse areas are clean, organized, and climate-controlled.
