**Job Title: Material Handler**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a material handler for the 2nd shift Fabrication Team. You will operate a sit-down forklift to move steel sheets to the machines for production. Responsibilities include transporting raw sheets from storage to the CNC machines, moving machined sheets to the blaster, and finally, moving sandblasted sheets to the staging area for the glass line. While most of the day will be spent on the forklift, you will also perform secondary tasks such as labeling, banding, and palletizing.

Schedules are Monday through Thursday (Overtime Fridays - sometimes mandatory) from 4 PM to 12:30 AM. Training will be on 1st shift for 30 to 60 days depending on the individual. The pay rate is $19.80 per hour with a $1.50 differential once moved to the 2nd shift.

**Hard Skills**

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in Dekalb, Illinois.

**Work Environment**

Large manufacturing plant environment with typical exposure to noise, dust, and hazards associated with working in a high traffic, heavy machinery plant. Typical work hours are Monday through Thursday, with overtime required on Fridays. Work hours may change at Management's discretion with prior notice.
