  • Work closely with physical and occupational therapy as indicated for each patient.
  • Develop skills across all domains of the department depending upon experience and clinical interest.
  • Collaborate with the Voice Center, Palliative Care, the ICU, and Radiology teams.

Qualifications

Required

  • Masters in Speech Language Pathology
  • CCC - SLP license in Massachusetts
  • CPR certification
  • 1-2 years experience
  • Knowledge of a second language is beneficial
  • Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from American Speech-Language Hearing Association

Preferred

  • Experience in adult inpatient level
  • VFSS experience
  • FEES experience

Schedule: Per Diem Pediatric Saturday Coverage Our Speech Pathology team services patients who have a wide variety of communication and swallowing disorders at the inpatient and outpatient level. Our team currently works with adults at the inpatient level, adults and pediatrics at the outpatient level, and completes adult video fluoroscopic swallow studies. We are currently looking for a Speech Pathologist who has their CCC’s to join our talented group of inpatient and outpatient SLP's within a large interdisciplinary team. We are looking for someone who is interested in working with outpatient pediatrics on Saturdays in a rotational capacity from 8:00am-2:00pm. Experience working with pediatrics at the outpatient level, especially in the areas of articulation, expressive and receptive language, and autism spectrum disorder are strong positives. Bilingual therapists are highly encouraged to apply. We are looking for an individual who brings enthusiasm, collaboration and a high clinical skillset to the team. Our team consistently collaborates with many interdisciplinary teams at the inpatient and outpatient levels including but not limited to the Voice Center, Palliative Care, Primary Care Physicians, Nutrition, and Radiology. Our team works closely with physical and occupational therapy as indicated for each patient. There are opportunities for skill set development across all domains of the department depending upon experience and clinical interest, especially as our department grows with the hospital campus expansion.
