Security Install Technician

Job Description

As a Security Systems Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of various security systems, including intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, intercom, network infrastructure, PA systems, fire alarms, and other PC-based systems. You will work on large-scale installations, ensuring that systems are installed, tested, and commissioned according to blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and specifications.

Responsibilities:

- Installation and Verification: Install, test, and commission security equipment for large-scale installations.

- Documentation: Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals, and specifications. Create "As Built" drawings upon project completion.

- Reporting: Complete reports for submission to customers and conduct system acceptance tests with AHJs and other interested parties.

- Risk Assessment: Consult with clients to assess risk and determine security requirements.

Skills and Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Valid driver's license; must be able to pass driving background check

- Massachusetts Low Voltage Class D License. (Systems Technicians License) null
