ARK Systems is seeking a motivated and organized Service Administrative Assistant to join their team in Columbia, MD. Responsibilities

  • Receives and processes calls for service/repair/proposals from customers and provides limited technical support.
  • Assists in reviewing certification reports for noted deficiencies found during routine testing.
  • Researches pricing, prepares proposals, and obtains customer approval as required.
  • Schedules/coordinates with service dispatch for technicians to complete approved work.
  • Coordinates with third party vendors for pricing and technical assistance as needed.
  • Addresses customer concerns and complaints, resolving matters in the best interest of the customer and the company or sending them to management for resolution.
  • Processes material requisitions for service-related work.
  • Opens and closes work orders, updates customer notes, etc.
  • Assists with communications with field staff as needed.
  • Assists with service invoicing.
  • Serves as a customer support and satisfaction liaison.
  • Works harmoniously within the service area and provides administrative customer support functions of all types and levels.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience and knowledge.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Knowledge of office administrative procedures and operation of standard office equipment.
  • Good oral/written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a high volume/fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable answering a phone and making calls for possible entirety of shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

Duties/Responsibilities:
