TUVLI is seeking a Project Manager to join our team supporting our Federal Government client in North Bethesda, Maryland.   • Schedule and conduct Kick-Off meetings with Application Owners, other Project Managers, Security, and Technical Teams.
  • Assist application teams in preparing for pending database upgrades and migrations.
  • Represent RFC(s) at Infrastructure Change Control Board (ICCB) meeting to gain approval.
  • Communicate actual migration dates to technical teams and coordinate transition of applications to Operations and Maintenance mode.

Qualifications

  • PMP Certification
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Maintain excellent understanding of IT and IT language
  • Prior experience managing teams of 4 or larger
  • Excellent leadership, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent judgment and composure in high-pressure situations
  • Prior experience interacting with high-level government clients

**Overview**

TUVLI is seeking a Project Manager to join our team supporting our Federal Government client in North Bethesda, Maryland.

**Responsibilities**

+ Work directly with the government client and the project SME to create and maintain a project plan and a detailed schedule to manage the process of migration and upgrading a large number of Oracle databases from older unsupported version/platforms to Oracle 19C database on newer hardware.

+ Coordinate day to day activities related to the implementation and testing of database server software version upgrades from earlier version to Oracle 19c, and the migration of Oracle databases residing on the current (older) to a newer Oracle platform running on Oracle Enterprise Linux.

+ Lead and coordinate the efforts to perform analysis, develop plans, write scripts and documentation for implementation of the upgrades and migrations.

+ Create reports as needed, item such as meeting minutes, weekly and monthly reports to meet the contract deliverable requirements

+ Lead the efforts to develop upgrade templates and guidelines for use by the application teams in upgrading their earlier versions to Oracle 19c.

+ Schedule and conduct Kick-Off meetings with the Application Owners, other Project Managers, Security, and Technical Teams for each migration group to explain migration strategy, identify tasks, and establish timelines.

+ Assist application teams in preparing for pending database upgrades and migrations. Perform Request for Change (RFC) process activities related to migrations.

+ Represent RFC(s) at Infrastructure Change Control Board (ICCB) meeting in order to gain approval.

+ Communicate actual migration dates to technical teams and coordinate transition of applications to Operations and Maintenance mode, following Standard Operating Procedures provided by the government client.
